BBC FA Cup — No Guts, No Glory
No Guts, No Glory is a series of 30-second television films created for the BBC’s FA Cup coverage. The campaign follows the competition from the opening rounds to the final, focusing on the determination, uncertainty and emotion that make the tournament distinctive.
The visual approach combines archival football photography with original black-and-white stills and slow-motion moving images. This mixture of memory and present-tense action gives the films a raw, cinematic quality, connecting the history of the FA Cup with the experience of the players and supporters living each new chapter.
