FOX (2026)

Cut off from his nine-year-old son, Scott—a working-class painter three months sober—refuses to abandon the role of father. Grief and love push him to break the rules for one stolen day together. When reality closes in, there is no redemption fantasy, only consequence.

FOX is a 22-minute social-realist drama about fatherhood, addiction and the quiet endurance of responsibility. Written and directed by Darius Norowzian and co-written by Todd Von Joel, the film was shot in real South London locations with a small, unobtrusive footprint. Natural light, close observation and restrained performance keep the audience alongside Scott rather than judging him from a distance.

Produced by StoryFactory Films, FOX stars Todd Von Joel, Kierston Wareing, Wil Johnson and Arion-Reis Robinsons Walters. Cinematography by Oliver Nice, editing by Ben Corfield and music by Father September.
